By using a fan speed controller you can save money on electricity while also reducing long-term noise and buzzing from your fans.
Whenever the temperature lowers or the lights go out, your fan doesn’t have to operate at full speed; instead, you can use a fan speed controller to establish a minimum speed for your fan to run at so that it may still exchange air and regulate any odours that need to be cleaned.
Having your extraction/inlet fans running all of the time isn’t always the ideal approach to control airflow or temperature. When the lights are both on and off, a fan speed controller will allow you to establish a temperature that you want to maintain in your grow environment.
